HOW TO GET OPEN DOORS OF OPPORTUNITY // One of the biggest lies we will ever believe is that we live in a world of "not enough." Not enough natural resources. Not enough money. Not enough time. All of these deceptions are designed to do one thing; prevent you from seeing the world as it truly is - a world of endless opportunity. One of the simplest ways to substantiate this truth, is to consider what life was like for Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden.
Before God ever created humankind, he created all of the resources we would need to thrive and complete our mission on earth - "to fill the earth and subdue it" (Genesis 1:28). These resources (coupled with humankind's ingenuity to creatively utilize them) were intended to perpetuate life on earth forever.
One could perhaps make the argument we lost much of what life was intended to look like after the fall, but the Bible teaches us that we when we were "born again," we actually entered into a spiritual dimension called "The Kingdom of God," where Garden-like living can be realized once again.
Of course, there are principles one must employ to take advantage of these Kingdom resources, and some of those principles I want to share with you this week regarding how to get more open doors of opportunity.
Simply put, everyone would like to think he wants more opportunities in his life, but the truth is, if we are truly looking for opportunity, we will begin see it all around us.
What we DO with that opportunity and how we multiply it, however, will determine whether or not more opportunities (and ones with greater significance) will keep coming our way.
