Brief Summary of the Project: Helmet with Alcohol Detection and SMS Notification is a helmet embedded system. The device detects presence of alcohol gas and sends an SMS notification to the indicated cellphone number. The purpose of the device is to notify the family or loved ones of the user that is using the device if he or she is under the influence of alcohol while driving. The loved ones will then have the opportunity to take necessary actions to help assess the situation. The objective of the device is to accurately detect alcohol gas present in the driver’s breath, if alcohol gas is present, it notifies the receiver with the indicated cellphone number using SMS notification.
